Sofus Midtgaard, Founder & Managing Partner at LeaderLab
Sofus Midtgaard has been working in the field of new media since 1996 – with a special focus on how digital media transforms business, relations and organizations.
From 2001-2008 Sofus Midtgaard Headed New Media Development and Corporate Strategic Development at The Danish Broadcasting Corporation – the largest Danish Public Service Broadcaster.
Before his time at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation Sofus was Co-Founder and Partner in the Internet Consultancy Company Runemedia.
Today Sofus Midtgaard is Managing Partner at LeaderLab – dedicated to helping companies rethink business, organization and leadership by reconnecting and involving employees, partners and customers in core processes.
Sofus Midtgaard was among other things founder of New Media Days, a New Media conference held in Copenhagen, gathering around 800 media professionals primarily from Scandinavia.
At his time at DR he headed several public-private co-creation partnerships with companies and organizations like Nokia, TDC, KU, The Danish Design School and the IT University.
Sofus’ educational background is from Information- & Media Science at Aarhus University and he holds an Executive MBA.
